When calibrating with a standard material of known particle size, the median voltage (or built-in pulse height analyzer channel) and corresponding to the particle size. When the counter does not have the voltage adjustable function, it can be replaced by a pulse height analyzer.
The calibration of the particle counter is the same as that of other particle size analyzers, at least once a year. Calibration should include particle size calibration, Particle size resolution, count accuracy calibration and volume calibration.
