Brief introduction of Laser Particle Size Analyzer

Laser Particle Size Analyzer is an instrument to analyze particle size by particles diffraction or spatial distribution (scattering spectrum) of scattered light. Particle size analyzer uses furanhofer diffraction and Mie scattering theory, its testing process is not affected by many factors such as temperature change, medium viscosity, sample density and surface state. As long as the sample to be tested is evenly displayed in the laser beam, accurate particle size distribution test results can be obtained, according to sample dispersion method, you could choose wet dispersion laser particle size analyzer or dry dispersion particle size analyzer (compressed air as dispersion media).


It's mainly apply to quality control department and research center, a laser particle size analyzer uses Photoelectric probe to collect particles scattering signals, the measuring range of laser particle size analyzer is effected by laser wavelength.

cement, ceramics, medicines, lotions, paints, dyes, pigments, fillers, chemicals, catalysts, drilling mud, abrasives, lubricants, coal, sediment, dust, cells, bacteria, food additives, pesticides, explosives, graphite, photographic materials, fuel, ink, metal and non-metal powder, calcium carbonate, kaolin, coal slurry and other powdered materials.
