Particle Size Test report description:

1） Measurement range: that is, the area of the measured particle size, which is selected in the data template of the software. It corresponds to the gear of the instrument.

2）Dispersion medium: the liquid medium used to disperse the sample to be tested. The dispersion medium cannot react chemically with the particles to be tested, nor dissolve    the sample to be tested.

3） Dispersant: a chemical substance that can change the interface state between particles and liquid and promote particle dispersion.

4） Sample concentration: optical concentration; shading ratio.

5）Analysis mode: free distribution, that is, the natural particle size distribution inherent in the sample itself obtained by the unconstrained free fitting algorithm. There are also R-R distribution and lognormal distribution in this software.

6） X10/D10: The particle size whose cumulative distribution of particles is 10%, that is, the volume content of particles smaller than this particle size accounts for 10% of all particles.

7）X50/D50: The particle size where the cumulative distribution of particles is 50%.

8）X90/D90: The cumulative distribution of particles is 90% of the particle size.

9） XAV/Dav: The average particle size of the particle population.

10）S/V: volume specific surface area; surface area of particles per unit volume.

11） Particle size analysis chart description:

• The transverse direction is the particle size value, which is logarithmically distributed.

• The left column is the cumulative percentage of volume, which corresponds to the upward trend graph.

• lThe right column is the volume percentage of a certain interval, which corresponds to a histogram or a fluctuating curve.

12） The data list is the test result corresponding to the analysis chart.
